The IETE Zonal Seminar (South) & ISF Congress on Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development successfully took place on July 26th and 27th, 2024, at VRR Hall. The event, organized by The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE Chennai Centre), featured a Presidential Address by Prof. (Dr.) A. K. Saini, President of IETE HQ, New Delhi. The Chief Guest, Dr. P. Hanumantha Rao, Director General of SAMEER, Mumbai, delivered the inaugural address.

Distinguished guests included Dr. S. D. Sudarsan, Executive Director of CDAC, Bengaluru, who served as the Guest of Honour, and Dr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman & CEO of Sairam Institutions, who delivered a Special Address. Other notable speakers included Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Thakare, Vice President & Chairman TPC, IETE HQ, and Dr. D. C. Pande. The event was also attended by Dr. J. Raja, Principal of Sri Sairam Engineering College. The seminar emphasized the importance of digital innovation in achieving sustainable development goals.
