The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Sairam District—Tamil Nadu, successfully held the opening ceremony for the Basic Course for Adult Ranger Leaders and Rover Scout Leaders from July 26 to August 1, 2024. The inaugural event on July 26, 2024, at the AV Hall, Sri Sairam Engineering College, was a resounding success.

The ceremony featured a Presidential Address by Dr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu, Chairman & CEO of Sairam Institutions. Dr. N. Vijayan, State Treasurer of BS & GTN and Chairman of the Zion Group of Schools, was honored as the Chief Guest, while Mr. G. Mahadevan, LT (S), ALT (C), HWB Rover, and Vice President of TNBSG, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The event also highlighted the Scouts’ commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
